Mission

The mission of the Stevens Alumni Pharmaceutical Club is to help enhance the careers and knowledge of its members in the pharmaceutical and related industries. Every quarter, SAPC holds its dinner meeting, complete with a presentation by invited guest speakers. Members have the opportunity to meet others in the pharmaceutical industry and learn more about diverse, pertinent subjects. Besides fostering good relations among members, these get-togethers provide a vital forum for the exchange of ideas. Meetings will be held from September through June, usually on Wednesday nights.

Meetings & Events

Meeting Canceled!
Wednesday, May 13th!

Due to a poor response rate, we must cancel the joint meeting of the Pharmaceutical Club and BioMedical Device Club scheduled for this Wednesday, May 13th.  We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause you.  If you have already mailed in your payment, it will be refunded shortly.>  We will reschedule this meeting for September.

Our Last Meeting:

On Wednesday, January 21st, the Pharmaceutical Club and BioMedical Products Club held a joint meeting at the East Grand Buffet in East Brunswick, New Jersey. We were privileged to have Gerry Crispin '69, international speaker, author, and consultant speak on "Career and Job Transition Challenges in 2009: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". Very informative and enlightening!

In addition, we had Amy Para and Joelle Hinds-Ware '93, experts on writing résumés, also at our meeting who discussed "Supercharging Your Résumé". We learned what employers seek and ways to enhance your résumé. A free résumé makeover was won by Dan Kinosian (congratulations, Dan!).

Needless to say, we all enjoyed the East Grand Buffet's fabulous choice of over 180 items (you've gotta love those crab legs!).
